Quick answers to the questions we get asked the most. Can't find what you're after? Come ask in the Discord.
Before submitting a whitelist application, please read these guidelines carefully. Failure to follow them may result in your application being denied without further review.
Whitelist applications are reviewed based on effort, realism, maturity, rule understanding, and suitability for the Three Counties Roleplay community.
Your character should be believable, grounded, and suitable for a realistic GTA roleplay environment. You must create a realistic character name and background.
Avoid overpowered or unrealistic character concepts, including but not limited to:
- Ex-military assassins
- Billionaire crime lords
- Secret agents
- International hitmen
- Characters with unlimited money, power, or influence
- Characters who are unrealistically skilled at everything
A good character should have both strengths and weaknesses.
Your backstory should make sense, fit the server setting, and allow room for development through roleplay.
Applications must be written entirely by you. AI-generated, copied, or plagiarised responses will result in automatic denial.
Staff may ask follow-up questions to confirm that you understand your own answers and that the application was written honestly.
Submitting an application written by AI, copied from another person, or taken from the internet may result in your application being denied immediately.
Low-effort applications will not be accepted. One-word answers, rushed responses, joke answers, or vague explanations do not show enough effort.
When answering scenario-based questions, explain:
- What your character would do
- Why they would do it
- How it fits realistic roleplay
- How it follows the server rules
Use proper grammar, punctuation, and clear writing where possible.
We do not expect perfection, but we do expect effort.
You must show that you understand the server rules. Rule-definition questions should be answered in your own words - do not simply copy and paste from the rules page.
Your answers should demonstrate that you understand:
- What the rule means
- Why the rule exists
- How to avoid breaking it
- How it applies during roleplay
If you are unsure about a rule, review the server rules before applying.
Scenario answers must reflect realistic in-character behaviour. Do not answer roleplay scenarios as yourself out of character unless the question specifically asks for an OOC response.
Your answers should show that you understand immersion, character behaviour, consequences, and realistic decision-making. For example, your character should not act fearless, all-knowing, or immune to danger.
Applications must reflect maturity and respect for the community. Toxic, troll, joke, aggressive, or unserious responses will result in denial.
Applicants are expected to understand that Three Counties is a mature roleplay community with standards for conduct, communication, and roleplay quality.
Staff decisions must be respected. If your application is denied, you may be given the opportunity to improve and reapply, depending on the reason for denial.
Do not copy applications, character stories, or answers from friends, other servers, websites, or templates.
We are looking for unique characters, original ideas, and personalities that fit within Three Counties Roleplay. Your application should represent your own understanding, creativity, and roleplay style.
Only apply if you genuinely intend to be active within the community. Whitelist access is given to players who want to contribute to the server, develop characters, and take part in meaningful roleplay.
Inactive accepted applicants may lose whitelist status.
You must be honest in your application. This includes being truthful about:
- Previous bans
- Previous warnings
- Previous server history
- Alternate accounts
- Prior issues with staff or communities
Lying in your application may result in permanent denial or removal from the community.
Honesty is taken seriously. It is better to explain previous issues honestly than to hide them.
A strong whitelist application should show that you are realistic, mature, honest, and willing to follow the standards of Three Counties Roleplay.
Take your time, read the rules, and answer properly. Applications that show genuine effort will always stand out.

Welcome! The aim of roleplay is to create believable scenes, develop your character, and interact with others in a realistic way. Here's what you need to know before you jump in.
Give your character a name, personality, background, job, strengths, weaknesses, fears, and goals.
Play as your character, not as yourself. Your decisions should reflect what your character knows and would realistically do, not what you as the player know.
- IC (In Character) - your character's world, everything that happens within the roleplay itself.
- OOC (Out of Character) - you, the player, outside of the roleplay.
Avoid out-of-character language about game mechanics. Instead of saying "press E," describe it as your character would - "interact with that."
Save OOC chat for genuine technical problems only, not for breaking immersion.
Characters need to respond realistically to danger. If your character is threatened, cooperate, act injured appropriately, and avoid unrealistic combat scenarios where you fight back against impossible odds.
Good roleplay takes patience. Let interactions play out naturally instead of rushing toward an outcome, whether that's money, an escape, or ending the scene quickly.
Losses, arrests, injuries, and failures aren't something to avoid - they create some of the best storylines and character development. Don't be afraid of your character losing.
If you're not sure on something and you're not actively roleplaying, you can:
- Use /guidebook in-game for reference.
- Ask in the Discord help channels.
- Ask more experienced players for advice.

Welcome to the city! Three Counties is about immersive storytelling, not rushing to grind money or gear. Here's how to start finding your feet.
Head to City Hall first. This is where new arrivals get sorted with the foundational documents your character needs, including ID, licenses, and initial employment.
From there, explore the city organically. Your character's story should build naturally through what you find and who you meet, not by rushing toward a specific goal.
There's no single "right" way to play. Once you're settled, characters can pursue:
- Civilian careers and legal employment
- Player-owned businesses
- Whitelisted roles, such as police, EMS, or mechanics
- Criminal roleplay, developed through proper narrative progression rather than mechanical exploitation
Keep IC (In Character, the game world) and OOC (Out of Character, you the player) separate, and stick to realistic character behaviour and consequences at all times.
Metagaming, powergaming, and random violence (RDM/VDM) are not allowed.
Check the in-game Guidebook first, accessed with /guidebook, the INSERT key, or the J key. If you still need a hand, the Discord's #City-Support channel is there for you.
Above all, prioritise character development and respectful interaction over rapid progression.

First thing we would recommend you doing would be to clear the cache of your FiveM Application, follow the quick and easy steps belove to get this done.
- Close FiveM and return to your desktop.
- Locate your FiveM shortcut and right click.
- Select Open File Location .
- Once you are in your File Explora locate the Data Folder and open.
- In this location select only Cache Server, Cache and Server Cache Priv and delete.
- DO NOT DELET GAME STORAGE AND NUI STORAGE .
- After completing the above you can also verigy your game files via Steam before trying to launch the server.
- Close all windows and then try to re-join the server. It will take a few minutes longer to log in as the required client files are downloaded.
Once you have done the above you can head over to our Server Info Page to connect to both our Server and Discord
As you are now Whitelisted this will mean you are already in our Discord, the easiest way to join the 3CPR server is directly from Discord. Head over there and check in city-flight-status and you will see the Connect option there.
You can also head over to the Server Info Page to connect.
Yes, we always welcome any one in the community to submit any cool moment they have on the server to be on our website. Simply all you need to do is head over to discord and create a support ticket. Our Admin or Media Team will be able to provide you with somewhere to upload your photos or videos to (if they are to big for Discord). Once we have them they will be reviewed and if accepted they will then be uploaded to our website.
This is best answered from the founder of the role Mitzy Quinn.
"The Team Lady role is a tag for females so they have access to our girly gossip Channel. My role as admin over that channel is to make sure that all females are invited to the channel and to give them a safe space person to speak to about any concerns they have if they prefer speaking to woman instead of one of the lads".

Getting involved in the community and spreading the word about Three Counties is, by far, the best way you can help the server. Being active, welcoming new players, taking part in events, and just being a good presence in the community matters more than anything else you can do here.
Telling your friends about the server, sharing clips or screenshots, and talking about us elsewhere in the FiveM community costs nothing and helps us grow more than anything else could.
If you'd also like to support the server financially on top of that, it's always appreciated but never expected. Donations are entirely optional - no player is required to donate in order to enjoy Three Counties Roleplay. If you'd still like to, here's how.
A one-off payment that gives permanent access to our exclusive import vehicle dealership, per character. Higher tiers also let you sponsor a civilian vehicle for the roster.
A sponsored vehicle is not a private vehicle and does not become personal property - it remains property of Three Counties Roleplay and stays available to other eligible dealership users, subject to stock rotation.
Going for a sponsor tier? Here's how it works:
- 1. Choose a vehicle from our approved developer list.
- 2. Open a support ticket with the vehicle details, the developer it's from, and the price.
- 3. Wait for management approval before doing anything else.
- 4. Once approved, complete your donation to confirm the sponsorship.
Sponsored vehicles must be lore-friendly, server-compliant, civilian-suitable, unbranded, and not an unapproved real-world de-badge - every vehicle is subject to management approval.
Prefer to support the server in a more general way? Custom donations go directly toward new scripts, server systems, development work, city features, and quality-of-life improvements.
These are one-off donations and don't automatically include Import Dealership Access, vehicle sponsorship, or personalisation, unless agreed with management beforehand.
Currently, the only option here is a personal registration plate, with more personalisation options planned for the future.
All requests are subject to approval, and offensive, inappropriate, copyrighted, or unrealistic requests may be refused.
Ready to support the server, or just have a question first? The team's happy to help:
- Open a City Support ticket in the Discord to get started.
- Donations are completed through our PayPal donation portal.
City investments help Three Counties continue to grow, improve, and provide better roleplay experiences for the community. But however you choose to contribute, being part of the community and helping it grow will always be what matters most.
